Version 2.6... worked great. Even version 2.77 worked well except for imputing information manually. Once upgraded to version. 2.8, the integration with Windows was greater and thus nothing worked well again. Your old data bases were upgraded and there is no backward compatibility, so you have to have an old version on a different computer to make any manual changes, then move (copy) to the other computer and have it updated to version 2.8... Tried to contact OXD to address the manual impute error, no answer. Loved the program (the free program) before the Windows rewrite. The initial "Stand alone" program worked flawlessly. Like always, once Windows gets its grimy hooks into it, nothing works well and it's nearly impossible to get things back to how they were before, without a complete reinstall of Windows. Stay with the older version, if you can. However, MovieCollector is a great, pay for, program that works very well.
Just downloaded and installed the program. From first looks, it seems quite awesome. But strangely, when I tried to click and drag on a field heading, the program reports an error and needs to be closed. Updating to the newest version v.2.8.5. does not help. Any reply to my problem appreciated. Btw, I am using WinXP Professional with an Intel Core Duo.
